A selection of the comments we received:

All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The doctors are extremely good and no problem

is too big or too small. For one I feel comfortable coming to my doctor and nurse with any problem.

A fab surgery, easy to speak to, friendly and child friendly.

Everyone is always happy to help and are always polite. You are always able to see the Dr.

There are no long waits, that’s very useful with a young family.

I have recommended this surgery to various people. It is friendly and I know I can always get an

appointment. All the doctors I have seen have been thorough and patient and I always feel listened to

and not rushed. This is an excellent practice, and the best I have ever attended.

The staff are all lovely at Adderlane Surgery – I would recommend it to anyone.
They treat you like a person and always put themselves out for you. Thank you.

Adderlane Surgery is staffed by excellent people in their fields, but they are also very compassionate,

friendly, understandable and approachable.

The mix of appointments and open surgeries is a great boon for patients.

If we may blow our own trumpet….

The Evening Chronicle in July 2022 published a league table of the top practices in the North East (from Teesside northwards) and we were really pleased to see that our practice was ranked first.

In 2020 the results were even better! The Evening Chronicle didn’t publish the league table this year but doing our own research we think our practice was the best in the County – and possibly all of the North East (or even the whole of England!)

This was derived from the annual GP Patient Survey results. A random selection of about a quarter of our patients receive a postal questionnaire about the services they have received each year.

A big thank you to all our staff who help to make this place what it is! This is, and always has been, very much a team effort – and this means that this has always been a really good place to work. This is also greatly helped by the warmth, kindness and patience of our patients – thank you all!

We think it’s worth pointing out that eight of those top ten practices are small practices. We are strong advocates of small practices which we feel offer excellent care to individuals, families and communities.
